Ulike partnered with Bambassadors to enhance ad performance by crafting visually compelling and highly engaging UGC videos for their IPL hair removal device. With goals of increasing ROAS and reducing CPA, the focus was on identifying and targeting key pain points to resonate with potential buyers. In a constantly evolving industry, testing a variety of scroll-stopping hook variations was crucial for finding a winning creative and keeping performance metrics strong.

The Approach

Understanding Pain Points
Our process began with a deep dive into Ulike’s target audience, pinpointing common pain points and motivations. By fully understanding the barriers and needs of potential customers, we created hooks that would speak directly to their desires and concerns.

Creative Briefing
The UGC creators we worked with received customized briefing, guiding them on how to produce visually striking and relatable content. With clear instructions on tone and messaging, creators could focus on delivering a dynamic viewing experience from the first second.

Hook Testing and Refinement
To find the winning ad, we generated multiple hook variations that captured attention immediately. Testing each variation allowed us to measure what best captured attention and converted viewers. A winning hook strategy emerged, resulting in a 2.6x increase in ROAS and a 62% decrease in CPA for Ulike’s campaign.
